Poem 4

The tide rolled into tonight, and now you know how I feel.
The wind slowly comes in off the shore, as the candle begins to flicker.
I hold you tightly in my arms, feeling you breathe in and out.
Who knew that after a few months, this love would be so real?
I have done things to hurt you, and we have had a few fights.
I am sorry that you had to ever once doubt me.
I am hoping that this love will last forever until the world ends.
God knows that I yearn to feel your body next to mine every night.
Your eyes hold my future, and your kiss lifts me so high.
I remember the first night we made love, and how my heart skipped a beat.
I remember feeling my lips kissing your neck and hearing you breathe harder.
I remember loving your body, and the feeling of my hand massaging your thigh.
This is more that a crush, more than just a schoolboy romance.
This is the truth and the happiest that I have ever known me to be.
All I that I hope and all that I wish is for you to be hear with me forever,
And to always save me that one last dance.
